The service

SimplInvoice collects invoices, extracts their details, classifies them for Irish VAT purposes, and produces VAT3 figures and accountant exports. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

Accuracy and your responsibility

Invoice fields are extracted automatically and VAT treatment is classified automatically. Both can be wrong. You remain responsible for the accuracy of any VAT return you file. Review the figures — the review queue exists for this purpose — before relying on them. We do not provide tax, legal, or accounting advice.

Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for the actions of users you invite to your organisation.
• You must have the right to access any mailbox you connect, and you must comply with that provider's terms and applicable law when you do.
• You must not use the service to store or process data you have no right to process, or in a way that infringes anyone's rights or applicable law.
• Subscriptions renew until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the Billing page; access continues until the end of the paid period.

Your data

You own your invoice data. You grant us the right to process it to provide the service — including storing it, sending it to AI extraction providers (your own keys, or SimplInvoice-provisioned keys when platform fallback runs), VIES, and producing the exports you request — as described in our Privacy Policy. If your account is closed, your data is removed as described in that policy.

Availability and limitations

The service depends on third parties — AI providers, VIES, your email provider — and may be unavailable when they are. No uptime guarantee is offered on the current plans. The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. To close your account and request erasure, contact support. We may suspend or terminate access to the service if you breach these terms, if continued operation would violate applicable law, or to protect the security or integrity of the service, giving notice where reasonably practicable.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service or the law changes. Material changes will be announced in the application, and the updated terms will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
